The First Domestic Deep Coal And Rock Gas Well Platform With A Cumulative Production Of 100 Million Cubic Meters Was Born

The cumulative output of Jishen 10-8 platform in Daji Block exceeds 100 million cubic meters. The three horizontal wells on the platform were put into production on January 6, 2023, with a maximum daily production of 435,500 cubic meters. It was only one year after it was put into operation. The average cumulative gas production of a single well exceeded 30 million cubic meters, becoming the first "100 million cubic meters" deep coal rock in China. The gas well pad further confirms that domestic deep coal and rock gas is an important growth pole for my country's unconventional natural gas.

The North China Branch started developing unconventional energy sources such as coalbed methane in 2008, and has successively completed projects for coalbed methane, tight gas and shale gas fields for nearly 20 customers including North China Oilfield Coalbed Methane, PetroChina Coalbed Methane, China United Coal and multiple local companies. Capacity construction projects. In 2021, the North China Branch went deep into the Daning-Jixian block, began to support deep coal and rock gas construction, and completed the demonstration of the water supply plan for the Daji coalbed methane field, the 3-7 to 2 pilot, the 3-7 to 2 pilot expansion, Jishen 6- 7 block and other projects. In the water supply transfer project, I witnessed the joy of the water head successfully reaching the 14-5 well site, and in the pilot and expansion projects, I witnessed the exciting moment of high production from well to well. Currently, the pilot test of deep coal and rock gas in the Daning-Jixian area has been realized The annual output exceeds 1 billion cubic meters.

As the first large-scale development of deep coal and rock gas, surface engineering lacks effective data support. During the construction process, the North China Branch carried out continuous technical research, tracked and summarized the change patterns and production characteristics of deep coal and rock gas, and implemented large-scale and efficient water transfer pipeline networks, dynamic balance of produced water, and standardized skid installations. A series of proprietary technologies have been formed in chemical station construction, equipment reuse, and flexible material application, which strongly support the construction of ground projects.

After years of practice, the North China Branch has made frequent achievements in the field of unconventional energy. It has formed a full set of standardized design results characterized by "product serialization, design standardization, achievement finalization, and skid-mounted construction" in coal bed methane field surface engineering. It supports the implementation of the "six modernizations" construction concept and has been fully applied to the two major coalbed methane industrialization bases in Qinshui Basin and Ordos Basin, realizing low-cost and efficient construction of coalbed methane and assisting the large-scale development and utilization of China's coalbed methane resources.
