My Country's Onshore Ultra-deep Well Drilling Technology Has Reached A New Height

An ultra-deep well on the edge of the Taklimakan Desert completed its drilling mission. During the drilling, it drilled 2,006 meters underground in the fastest day, setting a daily footage record for ultra-deep well drilling on land in my country, marking a new breakthrough in my country's ultra-deep well drilling speed-up technology.

The record-breaking Tarim Oilfield Ha 13-H9 well is located in Shaya County, Xinjiang, and the drilling depth is 7,341 meters.

This is the second time that the Tarim Oilfield has broken the highest single-day footage record in 10 days. Previously, the Yingxi 2 well drilled in the Tarim Oilfield had a single-day footage of 1,908 meters and was drilled to 3,118 meters in just 7 days.

Since the beginning of this year, the Tarim Oilfield has accelerated the exploration and development of ultra-deep oil and gas in the Tarim Basin by comprehensively promoting drilling speed-up, and the drilling cycle has dropped by more than 20%. It has repeatedly broken my country's ultra-deep well drilling records and comprehensively accelerated the realization of ultra-deep oil and gas resources.
