Huachi Area Oil Exploration Once Again Achieved 50 Tons Of High-yield Exploration Wells

A pre-exploration well in the Huachi area obtained a high-yield oil flow of 55.51 tons per day in the upper part of the Yanchang Formation, which has realized another new high-quality and efficient oil reservoir. So far, Longdong area has captured 5 high-yield pre-exploration wells with a daily output of more than 50 tons this year.

In 2024, Longdong oil pre-exploration focused on the two core tasks of "exploration and discovery" and "scale reserves", adhered to the western edge of the basin, large-scale shale oil reserves, and shallow-layer efficiency exploration, and continued to tackle key problems, and the exploration achieved good results.

The new type of shale oil exploration focuses on the "laminated type" and "mud pattern type". Four wells have achieved high yields of more than 20 tons, and the development and trial production have good results and outstanding benefits. It will be an important successor to the oil field to increase reserves and production. The western edge exploration has discovered new oil-bearing signs in the Gengwan area, and the integrated geological and engineering research has achieved significant results in the use of complex oil reservoirs. Seven wells in shallow-layer efficient exploration have achieved high yields of more than 20 tons, which has helped implement a number of rapid and efficient production targets for oil development, and the estimated production scale is over 150,000 tons.
