China's First 1,000-ton Well --Shengli Oilfield Tuo 11 Well Renovation New Life

In Shengli Oil Zone of Sinopec, the "meritorious oil well" Tuo 11, which had been temporarily shut down due to low daily oil production, successfully resumed oil production, ushering in a "new life".

Tuo 11 well is China's first "1,000-ton well", also the name of Shengli Oilfield well, which has gone through a number of development stages, such as self-injection high-yield, water control and oil stabilization, oil-to-water, water-to-oil and so on, and has cumulatively produced more than 630,000 tons of crude oil in the past 60 years. In order to further realize the potential of production capacity, Shengli Oilfield Shengli Oil Production Plant has organized geotechnical personnel to sort out the well history data, re-understand the oil reservoir, improve the well network, and successfully transformed and "resurrected" the well.

The wells of Tuo 11, which have been "revived", have increased their daily oil production from 0.1 tons to 3 tons before they were temporarily shut down. The technological breakthroughs that revitalized the old oil wells injected a shot of "cardiotonic agent" into the sustainable development of Shengli Oilfield.
