Another Major Breakthrough in Shale Gas in The New Strata in Eastern Sichuan

The first Permian WJP Formation shale gas evaluation well, Da 201, of Southwest Oil and Gas Field Branch achieved a high-yield industrial gas flow with a daily gas production of over 500,000 cubic meters, setting a new record for the highest Permian shale gas test production in the Sichuan Basin.

Well Da 201 is located in Liangping District, Chongqing City, in the Daye 1 well area of ​​Nanya syncline in the high and steep structural belt of eastern Sichuan. The purpose of drilling is to implement the influence of the large No. 1 fault on the gas content and production capacity of the reservoir at the western boundary of Nanya syncline.

In order to efficiently promote the implementation of Well Da 201, Southwest Oil and Gas Field Company has made scientific plans and fine deployments, coordinated the active cooperation and precise implementation of policies by various departments and units, and focused on the goal of high-yield breakthroughs:

strengthening the integration of geology and engineering and the coordinated interaction of the entire chain and the entire cycle to ensure the dual excellence of geology and engineering; strengthening the whole process tracking of geophysical exploration and the whole process management of fine guidance to improve the quality and efficiency of well engineering; strengthening the integrated scheme design, integrated tracking evaluation and integrated iterative upgrades, implementing fine backflow management and optimizing the drainage and production system, and fully escorting high yields.

By coordinating and optimizing the three links of "drilling + fracturing + drainage and production", Well Da 201 has refreshed many records of the fastest completion of drilling, the longest horizontal section, the highest platinum target drilling rate, and the highest test production of Permian shale gas wells in the Sichuan Basin.
