At 8:00 on December 15, Well Ning 209H73-5 of Southwest Oil and Gas Field Company completed 1,039 meters of footage in a single day while drilling from the deflection section to the horizontal section of the 215.9 mm borehole Longmaxi Formation. The daily drilling footage exceeded the 1,000-meter mark for the first time. , breaking the previous Chinese shale gas single-day drilling footage record of 828 meters in Well Ning 209H47-10. The average daily mechanical drilling speed of this well reached 66 meters/hour, and the drilling encounter rate of the "platinum target body" was 100%.

The Ning 209H73 platform is a stable production well platform deployed by Southwest Oil and Gas Field Company in the Ning 209 well area. It adopts a "daily fee" management model and is drilled by Bohai Drilling Engineering Company.
