Product Information

The casing head spool is an important connection between the casing and the wellhead device. It is used for the connection between each layer of casing, between the casing and the blowout preventer, and between the completion and the oil (gas) wellhead. It features a versatile straight bore design that accepts a variety of slip and mandrel casing hangers. It also has a 45° landing shoulder capable of supporting the maximum load to prevent the test plug from wedging under pressure.

The lower end of casing head spool is connected with the surface casing through threads, and the upper end is connected with the wellhead device or blowout preventer through flanges or clamps. It supports the weight of the subsequent layers of casing through the hanger, bears the weight of the blowout preventer, forms a pressure seal between the inner and outer casing, provides an outlet for releasing the pressure between the casing strings, and can implement the drilling and production process. special work.
