Singe Ram BOP

While the Single Ram BOP offers effective pressure control, it lacks the redundancy provided by the Double Ram BOP, which has two sets of rams. In case of a failure of the single ram to close, there is no backup ram available to seal off the wellbore. Hence, strict maintenance and inspection procedures are essential to ensure its reliability.
