Sucker rod blowout preventers (BOPs) are used to prevent oil and gas leakage, ensure well washing, etc.

It is used to provide positive blowout protection when sucker rods are used in oil well service work, preventing blowouts by providing positive sealing around the sucker rods.

They can be permanently installed between the tubing head and the pumping tee, or between the tee and the stuffing box. It can also be used to fill pump wells by sealing on the bare rod or sucker rod.

These blowout preventers are available in a variety of gate sizes and have various pressure ratings, with a choice of flange or threaded end connections (thread sizes range from 1-1/2" NU to 7" API body).

Our blowout preventers can seal on bare rods or sucker rods. When equipped with suitable gates, they can also seal off pumping wells without rods. Sucker rod blowout preventers are pressure tested at twice their rated value and can be operated manually or hydraulically.
