Structure Of Pulse Safety Valve And Precautions For Its Use

Mar 12, 2022

Structure of pulse safety valve:

The main components of the pulse safety valve are valve seat, main valve disc, main valve seat, piston cylinder, auxiliary valve disc and diaphragm.

The pulse safety valve is composed of main valve and auxiliary valve. The main valve is in the lower half and the auxiliary valve is in the upper half. The medium flows into the main valve and auxiliary valve disc at the same time. When the medium pressure exceeds the specified value, first compress the auxiliary valve spring to make the auxiliary valve disc rise, the auxiliary valve opens, and the medium enters above the piston cylinder, so as to push the piston down, drive the main valve disc down, the main valve opens, and the medium is discharged. When the medium pressure drops to the specified value, the auxiliary valve starts to close under the action of the upper spring, the pressure above the piston decreases, and the main valve also starts to close under the action of medium pressure. Pulse type safety valve is suitable for occasions with large diameter and high pressure.

Precautions for use of pulse safety valve:

1. Various safety valves shall be installed vertically.

2. There shall be no resistance at the outlet of the safety valve to avoid pressure.

3. The safety valve shall be specially tested before installation and its tightness shall be checked.

4. The safety valve in use shall be inspected regularly.

5. The use of safety valve must be within the validity period of validity.

6. The safety valve and control valve installed on the pipeline and equipment are usually stop valves, which must be opened to ensure that the safety valve can work effectively.

7. Lift the valve disc slightly regularly and purge the impurities in the valve with medium.

8. If the safety valve cannot work within the set pressure, it must be verified or replaced again.
