The WZ oilfield is located in the WZ block of the Beibu Gulf. It is a new exploratory well added to the annual workload after the exploration and testing of the WZ1 well and the oil flow was obtained. In order to ensure the smooth drilling of the WZ exploration well integrated project, the COSL WZ integrated project team assessed operational risks in advance, formulated countermeasures, and conducted full discussions on engineering design, material preparation, personnel allocation, quality and efficiency improvement plans and other aspects. and make detailed arrangements. At the same time, by practicing the company's system and formulating a safety work list, we further consolidate the safety foundation and make full preparations for the official drilling. It only took 7 days from receiving the operation order to completing all pre-drilling preparations such as towing vessel scheduling, positioning plan formulation, material and personnel preparation, and the conditions for drilling were efficiently achieved. In addition, in order to ensure the smooth progress of follow-up operations, the COSL WZ integrated project team held a drilling technology briefing meeting to address issues such as low formation pressure-bearing capacity, loss of weathering crust on faults and ancient buried hills, difficult buried hill strata, and severe well leakage in buried hills. And issues such as H2S were fully analyzed and discussed, and a series of measures were formulated to protect subsequent operations.
