China’s First 10,000-meter Deep Well! The Drilling Depth Of Shenzhen Taco 1 Well Has Exceeded 9,000 Meters

According to the official WeChat account of "State-owned Assets Xiaoxin", the drilling depth of my country's first 10,000-meter deep well, Shendi Taco 1 Well, has exceeded 9,000 meters. According to the design progress, it is expected that in two to three months, Shendi Taco 1 Well will be drilled to a depth of 9,000 meters. It broke through 10,000 meters underground and penetrated more than 10 layers.

On May 30 this year, the Deep Tako 1 well was officially drilled in the Tarim Oilfield. As China's first 10,000-meter exploration well, it aims to explore 10,000-meter ultra-deep geological and engineering science theories.

The performance of the drill bit directly affects the drilling speed and safety quality, facing the siliceous rock formation section from 8,400 meters to 9,600 meters that is harder than "diamond".

Tarim Oilfield will innovatively apply new hybrid toothed drill bits that are aggressive, impact-resistant, and abrasive-resistant to break through the drilling problem of "cannot drill and drill fast" and improve rock-breaking capabilities and efficiency.

The Shenzhen Taco 1 Well is located in the hinterland of the Taklimakan Desert. The well is designed to be 11,100 meters deep and is planned to be drilled in five starts.
